Are You Under Spiritual Attack?

Has the Holy Spirit impressed upon you that you are under spiritual attack? Signs of spiritual attack are being hounded by negative thoughts about yourself, emotional instability, you feel off, disconnected from your family, you are suddenly or often sick, have some kind of physical ailments even though you take good care of yourself, you want to isolate yourself from family and Christian friends, people in general especially church and members of your church. After a prolonged spiritual attack you may revert back to your old ways and behaviors. How much do you know about using the armor of God spiritually, praying to God for release from the attack, praying against unclean and demonic spirits, and praying for God's protection? There are steps you can take to overcome spiritual attacks.

First, prepare your mind and heart. Mentally thank God for everything you can think of to thank him for both big and small. Second, remind yourself that God loves you with a perfect and unconditional love and forgives you of all your sins. Third, ask God to help you forgive yourself for anything you're feeling guilt or shame over. God has given us the ability and the right to stand before him without any sense of sin, guilt or condemnation. Fourth, listen to or sing praise and worship music praising God in your mind and heart. Fifth, read the Bible. Do any or all of these things so you can pray and trust God to have your best interest at heart. Remember, if a child asks his father for a fish will his father give him a stone. God has great things in store for us. All we have to do is ask. Read the scripture and pray the prayer below.

In the Holy Bible we read in Matthew 7:9-11 NIV [9]  “Which of you, if your son asks for bread, will give him a stone? [10] Or if he asks for a fish, will give him a snake? [11] If you, then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask him!

And in the Holy Bible we read in 1 Peter 5:6-10  [6] Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time. [7] Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you. [8] Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. [9] Resist him, standing firm in the faith, because you know that the family of believers throughout the world is undergoing the same kind of sufferings. [10] And the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will himself restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast.

After you have prepared your mind and heart and strengthened your faith, say this prayer: Father, thank you for your unconditional and perfect love for me. Thank you that by faith I am saved and not by my own works. Father, please remove from me all unclean and demonic spirits. Please do not allow unclean and demonic spirits to oppress me or influence me in any way. Thank you Father in Jesus name.

In the name of Jesus I cast off from me and away from me all unclean and demonic spirits. I command you to leave me, to leave this place and to not return.

Father, thank you for protecting me. I ask you, please fill this place with your presence. Thank you for placing a hedge of protection around me. Help me Father to submit to you in every way. I relinquish my will to you and pray that your desires become my heart's desires. I pray that your will be done in me and through me and that I serve you and your kingdom well. I ask you Father to move aside anything that prevents me from serving you and you working through me and loving others through me.

In Jesus name, AMEN

A Perfect, Neverending Love

I praise God for the day my Grandma Mazie taught me the gospel of Jesus Christ and that God loves me and will never leave me nor forsake me. That was 51 years ago and God has never failed me. He walks with me through every storm. He allows me to feel his presence and love when I am lonely. He gives me a perfect, awesome peace during my hardest trials. He comforts me and fills me with joy when I suffer loss. God has sustained me when I should have been paralyzed and my memories lost forever. Even though I turned to alcohol to self medicate and give me liquid courage to deal with things I should have given to him, he not only sustained me, gave me peace and carried me through, he completely healed me. I had surgery, yes, but he gave me the most awesome peace about it and never left me. And where there was spinal canal stenosis and spinal cord impingement, God completely healed me. Where a bone spur developed under the metal plate attached to my cervical spine, God healed me. It went completely away. It's like it just dissolved. I went from being a fall away from paralysis from the neck down and suffering great memory loss to graduating with a Bachelor's in Science degree with a GPA of 3.17 and working somewhere that I can serve God and serve others through Christ. Glory, hallelujah, to God be all the glory, honor and praise.

I wish I could say I've never sinned but I would be lying. I wish I could say I never left God but shame and guilt came between us. But not on his part, he never left me. He was still there. While I was agonizing over sin and shame God miraculously healed me. I learned a valuable lesson. I had thought at one point that I was good. I felt pride. But through that trial I learned that I've never been 'good' and that there is only one who is good and that's Jesus. During that time I developed severe mitral valve prolapse and one side of my heart was enlarged. God miraculously healed me from that. My heart is completely normal. Praise God. Even when I felt so far away because I had let sin creep in God showed me he was there, loving me, watching over me the way a loving, devoted father watches over his daughter. I can tell you about other miracles but it will take a book to share them all.

Never stop believing in God because he's not going to leave you no matter how terribly you've sinned. God loves you unconditionally. He knows everything about you and wants to bless you. God will never leave you nor forsake you. Don't let guilt and shame keep you from having the close relationship that he desires to have with you. Never stop praying. Never give up. Ask God for forgiveness and accept it. Then ask him to help you forgive yourself because God has got you. And if you don't know God, message me and I'll tell you all about him.

Who are You?

Who are you? Who do you see yourself as? Do you see yourself as broken, used, hurt, cheated, unlovable, untrustworthy, and destitute? You have hope. You're here. You know there is a God who created this world, a god you may be angry with or blame for everything you've been through, everything he allowed other people to do to you. But you know you feel God.
You feel his presence. You feel his love for you. You feel him calling to you to come closer so that he can give you the good portion, the good things in life your heart desires; unconditional love, forgiveness, another chance to be who you know you are underneath all the abuse and pain. You know you want peace. You want to be happy. You want to feel like everything is ok.
Hope is why you're here. That tug at your heart, that feeling you have in your gut that God's got you and has always had you. That feeling when people are treating you like less than enough but you feel deep down there's more and you are lovable and there is more out there. You're promised more. That's God. He's the more you're looking for. 1 John 4:16.  And so we know and rely on the love God has for us. God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in them.
God is love. Does God allow people to have freedom of choice? Yes. Does God allow us to make our own choices and live life the way we want to? Yes. Does God allow us to choose who or what we believe in and choose to put first in our life? Yes. What are the benefits of choosing God and putting him first in our life? Matthew 6:33 NIV But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.
God is our provider, a loving father, and the great physician. There's nothing that you need or will ever need that he hasn't already thought about. God will provide you with everything you need; guidance, success, protection, peace, healing, joy from within, and freedom from anxiety. God will also strengthen you with strength and might in your inner man so that you can do everything you need to do. Psalms 37:4 NIV Take delight in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart. END
